Connect with Art Campers During Pan African Art Session
During the Pan African Art Session at Connect with Art Summer Arts Camp in Takoma Park, Maryland, campers were really enthusiastic about learning a song in another language (Twi language from Ghana). Every morning they asked if they could start the day by singing the song Obisana. When they learned the song, they learned that it was a Ghanaian children's song. As seen in this video clip, the arts can be used as a bridge between cultures.
